When you can't finish the first level because crawling through a vent puts you out of bounds with no way back in... yeah it gets a bad review. I'll be happy to update my review if they add any of the polish you seem to believe it has.

Nope

Polish? Half the building textures are missing, rendering them a transparent mess--some buildings are basically invisible mazes you have to navigate by sheer luck. NPCs can't really be aggro'ed without you running literally right in front of them--there's no stealth to be had. No graphical settings, the game is ugly as hell, the developers folded as soon as they released it. The game has controller settings in the options menu but zero controller support. They had to patch keybindings in last second, as a day-one-patch.

They released the game as a swansong for the studio. They thought it better to release it barely developed than not at all--a stance I firmly disagree with.

Developer admitted that they have moved other to other project. Although they said they'll be trying to fix it in their spare time... but considering how the newest branch on Steam is currently the public release (which is already 3 weeks old) and how softlock in tutorial is still not fixed (which requires literally 3 additional lines of code), I guess, it's safe to assume "fixing it" is never going to happen and that this is the best state this game will ever be in (ergo: it's very much broken)

I second that. Both have problems (especially Filcher), but both these game manage to achieve more-or-less what they were going for and both are *definitely* in the completed state.

Every stealth game ion storm made plus indie devs were fun

Also if you're primarily a console player posting on a PC gaming platform then that's silly. You'd be better off posting in a console gaming specific discussion place.

No just saying a lot of modders port to each device…. Plus gotta remember pc parts are rare cuz the part shortage and pandemic
