My favorite team composition for ROBOS III depends on whether I want to try to go as deep as possible, or I want to make the most fun builds.

For fun, I chose:

• Hexapus - I like to pick him since he's a clear underdog
  
• Lanternfish - The short transition time allows for very unique builds
  
• Hermit Crab - Love this guy

For trying to go as deep as possible, I chose:

• Giant Squid - Very good early carry
  
• Sea Butterfly - Best creature to get full defenses on (shortest total state machine time)
  
• Tridacna - Scales very well once you get deep
