"a fine mess you've gotten yourself into"

So I'm at a part where I have to talk to Menderbot about a way to clean the rust off of the Row Bot but Menderbot died. Got crushed by debris. The game scolded me saying "well this is a fine mess you gotten yourself into. Use those god powers of yours to fix it".

How am I supposed to do that?

Go to the nearest temple and hang your picture somewhere there. In a couple of days or hours, you'll figure out how to do it yourself.

This is a fun line because it could be interpreted as the game telling you to find a way to progress without Menderbot, or it could be interpreted as the game goading you for not having omniscience like a god should. It also serves as a reminder that you reset the world to start the oneshot fading memory program, and the computer asks (maliciously) why can't you do that now since you messed up.

I just realized that the game sent me to Google for a solution instead of literally asking my friends. It's funny how different it feels when you're searching for an answer online to a puzzle you couldn't solve yourself, and when the game itself sends you to look it up on the internet.
