how do i play the mod ?

after i installed the mod it just took me back to vanilla so i thought that i had to play through the game again and made it to the tower but i got soft locked because save data did not appear , how do i continue ?

If you're in vanilla content then you should finish solstice before you're able to move on to mod content.
There should've been a prompt at the beginning asking you if you'd like to replay vanilla or "wake up" which would allow skipping this requirement.

Now, assuming you're at the point where the entity told you to leave as Niko sleeps in bed, you don't need to erase a save file, but launch the clover program that's added to "Documents/My Games/OneShot"
