Do you remember which scenes had the bad pauses in them?
It's not the first time it's brought up, and we'd like to address that as best as we can

sure! i just went through and replayed the mod so here's my list of the worse pauses. though i do have to note that i didn't play dark light or darker light and i couldn't bring myself to kill niko or not save menderbot, so if there were any changes in dark light or darker light or in those particular scenes i haven't listed them here. sorry!

house

- interacting with both fridges in the house (feels kind of long, and i think its mostly because in the original oneshot the text appears at the same time as the sound of opening the fridge plays while in the mod there is a pause for the opening sound, then the text. small issue, not especially noticeable)

crystal cave (idk if thats actually the name for the area so sry if it isn't)

- searching the box after opening it (specifically the pause between niko saying 'the box opened' and 'hmm, what's inside?')
- charging the empty battery (the pause immediately after selecting the sun and the battery, made me think my game had frozen or something)
- interacting with the elevator for the first time (specifically the end of the cutscene, might not actually be a pause here but i can't tell if there's a pause at the end or if i've been given control again. if there isn't a pause then just ignore this one)

menderbot (i don't think i managed to write down all of the bad pauses for menderbot but the ones i think were really noticeable are listed)

- cutscene after powering the generator (specifically the pause before niko asks where to find the prophet bot)
- interacting with menderbot after the first cutscene (specifically the pause after menderbot says "hi, niko")
- interacting with menderbot and choosing the dialogue options of "how are you" and "what is this place" (my notes don't actually list where the pauses are here, but if i remember correctly these options should only have two or so pauses in them)
- giving menderbot the photo (just the pause after niko realizes he hasn't actually given menderbot the photo and menderbot is running off to the caves, although i think that pause might have been long only because i gave menderbot the photo in such a way that when he was running off he was still on my screen for a good five or six seconds, extending the pause. i don't actually know if that's how the pause there works so please disregard this if my assumption is correct)
- cutscene after saving menderbot & cutscene after leaving the cave and entering the section with muffled area music (again, for some reason i didn't list where the bad pauses were here but i think at this point i was just getting irritated by the pauses so this one might be entirely subjective)

and that's everything i noted down! sorry if my list is too vague or anything.
