I failed dark light once and I opened the game up again after it closed and it gave me the you killed niko stuff. this time when I press start closing the game multiple times has no effect on niko. I have tried deleting save.dat and psettings.dat and also steam_autocloud.vdm when the game is closed and steam cloud saves is turned off after I close the game. Normally I would close the game until niko dies and then delete the save.dat and psettings.dat files to be able to replay vanilla, dark light, and the fading memory menu. I have even tried reinstalling.
