Quick question (Resolved)
I mostly loved DXC1 but I'd be lying if I said the lack of an invert option didn't substantially hinder my ability to enjoy the FPP entries. Struggling with the controls is never a good time.
I own DXC2 but haven't played due to a reluctance to face more controls-related frustrations.

Since this entry in the series contains all first-person perspective titles, I have to ask.
Will mouse Y-axis invert options be present?

Ladies and gentlemen,

It is my deepest pleasure to inform you that this has finally been put to bed (for real this time)! The Axis inversion is now functional on both controller and M&K, mouse acceleration has been cleaned up, fully customize-able controls are in, and there's now a cool radio in the main room (not to mention some hazard signs posted around the base that I got to design).

Thank you all again for your extended patience. We couldn't ask for a better community to work with.

Just use Steam Input to easily change the controls. You can invert the right stick in a few seconds.
Thanks for the tip, but I'm not sure why you would suggest using steam input to invert the right analog stick on a controller when I specifically asked about whether *mouse* Y-axis invert options will be present in the game itself.

Not meaning to sound ♥♥♥♥♥♥, I appreciate you trying to help.
But I don't use controllers and even if I did this still wouldn't answer my actual question.

Yeah, I'm an idiot and missed that.

I second this, Y axis invert mouse option please, can't play without it.

Q.A. here with good news!

Axis Mundi? More like Y-Axis Mundi.

I have now gone through all of the games to double check and EVERY SINGLE ONE will have controller support with the option for y-axis inversion. Don't forget to tell your friends!

Feel free to let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Happy future hunting!

That is nice, but they were asking about MOUSE inversion. I know, I misread it too.

...and there was no joy in QAville that day. For the mighty Artman Cometh had struck out.

You're not an idiot friend, I could have worded the OP a bit better. I vaguely mention "controls" twice in the first part without clarifying that I was referring to mouse until the very end. That's my bad.

Hehe.. Well they tried to help, and I appreciate the effort. But yeah, it'd be nice to get some sort of "official" response from DreadXP, any of the devs, or a community manager.

I posted this question over 3 weeks ago, so far nothing from anyone involved in DX:TH. I guess that could mean we already have an answer to this query, but we'll see.

Official Q.A. here again,

The developers are hard at work putting the finishing touches on their games, but we're happy to reach out on their behalf.

All of the developers have integrated control rebinding into their games, but some are using different settings systems than others. Once I've gone through the rest of my priority list, I'll come back to verify exactly which games (should be most) have mouse y-inversion included in that feature.

Thank you for keeping up interest!

Q.A. here again again,

Seraphaxial, Rose of Meat, the Fruit, and House of Unrest all have y-axis on MOUSE support.

Correction on my first post: After my message, we encountered some hidden bugs with controller support on the main menu and input remapping for the Hub, so we removed it for launch, but we will be re-integrating it (and hopefully mouse inversion) shortly after. All of the games in the collection have it working just fine though.

I hope that is a satisfactory answer. We've been very hard at work to help make this collection feel polished and ready for launch. We can't wait to hear your thoughts on all the games!

Great to hear there's y-axis inversion of the mouse supported in the games!
Matheo 13 Apr, 2021 @ 10:30am
I just started story mode but there is no keybinding or Y axis mouse inversion. Hope they will be added back soon.

Good news, everyone!

We just put out a patch fixing a bunch of things! We added full remapping / controller support to the launcher complete with X and Y inversion. Hopefully it's feels better to play than ever before!

We also We balanced the mouse sensitivity, and altered the adjustment slider, and added an interactive radio to the main room.

CruD, if it feels better to you, would you mind marking this thread as resolved? It would mean a great deal to us.

Thanks to everyone who helped provide feedback!

Y axis inversion works but mouse sensivity is atrociously low, even when slider at maximum, there is clearly something wrong. :steamsad:
