Can't get the code out of the Black Relic game

Just as the title says. Finished the game and then I quit it, but upon quitting it I saw the code on the report didn't get revealed.

Infact I can't seem to be able to launch it anymore either: pressing "start game" does nothing.

Any help for this? I did atleast get the achievement but...

Hello there, Q.A here!

I'm sorry to hear that the case file is giving you an issue, and I've forwarded the issue to the developers!

In the meantime, here are the codes for the case files (since they're not tied to a single case file and change depending on sequence).

D4J2
B1F3
A8C2
A4A2

had the same issue will use the remaining code whenever i have got the 6 other codes for now, thanks

Had the exact same issue with Black Relic. Finished it, quit, back at the base board with no code. Clicking on 'Start Game' did not launch the game, but it unlocked the achievement for finishing BR. Also lost sound in the main game upon returning.

Relaunched the main game. The code for BR was still not showing upon opening the case file. Launched BR, directly quit, it showed up. Just so you know.

Q.A. here,

When did you first encounter the bug and when did you relaunch the game? We put out a patch intended to fix this and it's possible it happened when the update went through.

I remember getting the patch earlier in the day, though I hadn't had any minutes with the game then. Started my first run after it. When the BR bug happened, I immediately relaunched the game and continued playing from my last save.

Thank you for laying that out! I've been told there is still a possibility it was a result of the patch going through, so the best thing we can do is keep an eye out for if it happens to anyone else. Glad it was easy to work around.

Similar thing happened to me too, just a few minutes ago. I finished Uktena and got the code from that, but when I tried to get the one for The Black Relic, it would stay blank. I got the achievement as soon as I finished, but if it wasn't for Lazarus's post, I wouldn't have the code either. Still having a great time regardless though.

Had this problem too but solved it. First before I started this game, I had loaded another I hadn't finished yet. I finished it and got the "Mercy Slayer" achievement. Afterwards I went to this game and finished it. When I quit the game to go back to the main board I didn't have an achievement or the code. I completely quit the program and logged back in. I got the achievement for finishing Black Relic but no code. Started the Black Relic game and then once I had a chance to quit came back to folder and then I had code. Mission accomplished.

I got the achievement fine for completing the game, but I also did not get the code unlocked. Conversely, I got the code for Uktena 64 before finishing it, so make of that what you will (although I did not get the achievement until I finished it).

The launching the game after exiting out of the story mode and getting back into it trick did work for getting the code for me too (like some others have said, I couldn't get back in straight away). So that fix seems to work.

I bought/downloaded the game a week ago, started playing it for the first time today, exact same issue with Black Relic. Beat Seraphixial and then it, no code, reloaded game got achievement but still no code. Fun collection though.
