Tapes bugged, skipped ending, what's going on ?
Hey there,

After ending the menace and getting a picture and a tape from its body, I tried playing the tape, to no avail.

I have a message in the lower right corner like "TAPE 5: ON", but no sound.

I tried playing an older one to see what would happen ; the old started playing, but as I left the lab it triggered a cinematic, with the dialogue of the cinematic merged with the ones from the tape.

Pressed ESC to get out of this mess and try to reload earlier, and it SKIPPED THE CINEMATIC.

So now I'm in the mess hall in front of the 7 files, with rock music instead of the nice piano, and I don't - know - what - to - do.

I can't go back because of the auto-save feature.

It's a bit frustrating to miss huge chunks of the narrative.

It's also not the first time that listening to tapes or triggering an event messed with another dialog already unfolding.

Can somebody tell me what I missed during this cut-scene I accidentally skipped, and what should I do now in order to finish the game ?

Q.A. here,

I think I know what happened. The final tape plays automatically as part of the cutscene. You must have been playing the other tape when you triggered the ending cutscene. Sorry that happened. There are two solves.

It's a cutscene so you've definitely earned seeing it regardless, but if you're hardcore and want to speed-run your way back through to it, here are all the codes to save you some time:

A3C3
D4J2
B1F3
A8C2
A4A2
B6A2
D6C3

We're working on a few fixes to help avoid this happening to other players. Thank you for being so invested in the game and breaking down what happened for us.

Actually, you are right. I'll redo a quick run and speed-run until the part I missed. I know this is a product of love, so it'd be a shame not to see the ending by myself.
