Sorry for the necro, but I got this game while away from home and I can confirm it runs great on my Steam Deck!
Ignore the playable rating, the game natively runs at 1280x800 and the controller config is set up for you. (left stick to move camera, i recommend disabling left mouse to pan)
Since it's 2D you can turn down your power profile a lot too
