White pixels outlining parts of skin
I created a mod skin and all the parts have bits of white pixels outlining them. this includes parts made using the template lines. even if I export the default template it still has them a bit. any idea what the issue is? could it be how clip studio is exporting the image?

This is a known issue and I think is only a thing for the preview, I didn't notice it during play, seeing as I had a skin in the game that became a mod in skin, I know there is some change between the way it is rendered.

No it’s happening in gameplay as well for me. Even when I exported the default template skin it would still have some. Particularly around the elbow.

But considering it’s a known thing I assume it’s just something with how the skins get rendered that’ll probably be ironed out as things go forward.

If you wish to show us some screen shots, that would be nice though. I'd assume level one would work best, with the zoom and the dark background to contrast it.

here's a couple. it's less noticeable when it's zoomed out but the zoom in makes it more apparent

I sent you a Friend Invite, is there anyway you can share me/us your skin/json file?

And also, what video settings are you playing with?

It actually doesn't have anything to do with the json or anything like that. I've looked into it quite a bit, and I think I know the issue. Basically, I believe it to be just sort of a flaw with the png import AND whatever art program you're using in general (Photoshop is notably bad at this, actually)

Basically, one of the flaws of quite a few png exporters is that anywhere there's total transparency, it actually is white, with 0% alpha. This is fine, on those pixels, since they're entirely transparent. But as soon as it is filtered/blurred slightly, it mixes the boundary color with the white in the totally transparent areas, thus giving this white border. I'm working on something that should hopefully fix this issue, but I don't have any skins that seem to do this.

Would you be okay sending me your skin png to do some testing?

yeah here's an imgur link
I should also add, I made the edits in clip stuido paint and I tried a version using a brush with no anti-aliasing so there wouldn't be any transparent pixels and it didn't seem to work. so yeah I'm thinking that it's something to do with CSP
also I'm playing in fullscreen with 1920x1080 6hz with all effects on

[Testing it here as well]
Huh, And the link above is the one you used for the skin before that is giving you issue now?

I ask for I made a new skin [no mask] and got a clean upload of it...

Hey, next time you can get a chance to, Aywot, Try making the skin again, without a mask [or, letting the game have one auto]

[BTW, is also playing on 1920/1080, but 59hz. but I still see it as fine.]

I’ll try a version with no mask next time I get a chance and see how that works out
