The decorations will also get more and more over time (as we already did in various updates). The "classic decorative objects" you name are not our highest priority to be honest though -- we rather try to focus on realistic aquascapes currently.
I've tested other aquariums games (like aqarium desingner) but none of them manage to move the fish as realistically as you do :)
As a former aquarium owner, I know that it is best when the fish behave in a species-appropriate manner. This makes up a large part of the Fastzination.
Shrimp and snails, being individual kinds of species, are quite some work for us to do, so they are also on the list for later on...
