The texture of coverings breaks sometimes if you open menus or tab out of the game.
The only way I've found to fix it is by switching to another saved tank and back again.

This is a known issue and will be fixed with the next release. It happens if you go back to tank selection and select the already active tank again. To fix it you have to select another tank.
