Items not crafting?
Sometimes i'll end up with 2 incomplete stacks of an identical material and one stack won't work for crafting, even if I have enough if its the forbidden stack it wont register

If you mean that you have enough material for crafting, but you can't craft, I think it's probably due to a lack of tools. For example, and you need a smelter to get ingots, an anvil , a hammer to craft dagger etc. You can find them in villages and cities.
