Is it just me or is the poacher distinctly less fun to play
Between the unending ammo juggling, spamming detect life, and benny hill chases, I have come to gradually loathe the the poacher in comparison to the other classes. It's not that I'm doing bad with them, but holy hell does the juggle get old fast.

I feel you. It's annoying to have to pick up arrows every time after a fight. I really hope they will add button for picking up items,

You don't HAVE to use a bow on every enemy. If they're not a threat to you, you can bust out some daggers or spears, which also gain a damage bonus from your Dexterity. I usually only use bows on big, scary melee guys.

I do agree though. Rounding up arrows sucks. I have more fun when I get the poacher's roll back skill on a spell caster. It would be nice if the game marked arrows we fire so that we'd auto pick them up and equip them again when walking by outside of combat.

Lol, I actually think that cultist's smite with a bow makes him a far better poacher than poacher. It assumes the speed and range of your bow, doesnt need a clear "line" between you and the target, so it's almost as good as piercing shot (at least in regard to single targets) plus has no cooldown AND uses no ammo. Not to even mention cultist's +3 damage buff to weapons, healing, and a whole buch of other versatility.

Why play poacher at all?

Cultist's smite ability doesn't scale well, and runs out of steam fairly quickly. Though the range keeps it occasionally useful.

Game is in a serious need of passive abilities.
