Grindstone buff disappears or doesn't persist.

I recently acquired the tool that lets you equip special Grindstones. However, whenever I use it and enter a cutscene, the buff disappears or doesn’t persist—especially during long boss cutscenes when entering the arena.

Since the buff gets consumed, I can’t reapply it once the fight begins.

The only workaround I’ve found is to skip the cutscene, but that’s only possible if you’ve already seen it. Is this a bug? Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Oh. I didn't know that the buff counts down during a cutscene. That's weird game design. But tbh, you have plenty of time to apply the buff before the boss starts attacking you.
