Mac save file not working on pc?
so i bought this game while on the road and was playing it on my mac. now im home and the steam cloud is synced. still no load file. ok, no problem, i can manually do it. still doesnt show it. ok, disable steam cloud sync, manually transfer the files. finally shows the correct save file. load in, starts from 0 again. wtf do i do to continue my game on my home pc?

This also goes the other way.

I was playing the game yesterday and I took down the Parade Master on my steam deck. After downloading the game on my mac, the save file from my deck is not available.

I am going to check to see if the save file from my steam deck is available on my PC.

The save file was on my desktop after a fresh install of the game. So it appears that steam cloud just not working on MacOS

Yeah, for some reason, the developers decided that they don't want to have cross saves between Mac and PC/SteamDeck. I have two full playthroughs on my Mac, and then when I spent 1 ½ months travelling across the country, I had to start all over to play on my Deck.

The saves between MacOS and Windows versions are not the same. While the game itself does have cloud saves, the saves of windows versions are separate from the saves on MacOS.

you can actually do it. you have to dig in the game files on your mac, but i did it. when i made this post, thanks to a redditor user durden_adi :

"Apparently, the library folder inside Users is hidden, go to View -> Show View Options -> Check Show Library Folder. (Can't edit the post for some reason)"

there you will find your save file that you can then copy and paste on your windows. and vice versa

here's a fix for you. where you can find the save files on mac:

Apparently, the library folder inside Users is hidden, go to View -> Show View Options -> Check Show Library Folder. (Can't edit the post for some reason)
