Thank you. Have had my eye on LoP for ages.
I like the look of the LoP. I previously like souls-like games too. However, I am somewhat worn-out with brutal difficulty. Whereas I think I would like to enjoy these dark-gothic experiences, which I might otherwise miss.
There have been plenty of souls-like games that I have looked at over recent years. I have added all of them to my wishlist, but am equally hesitant to buy them. ....... I may get my interest for brutal-games back, but for now there is a choice with LoP.
But, like you said, we’re getting a reasonable version of LoP, so let’s get the party started!
I went and missed buying it. Also meant to buy Everspace 2. ......... Never mind though, as the Steam summer sale starts in three days. Also hoping Space Marine 2 gets a good discount.
Quite certain I'll get Lies o' P and its expansion though.
I bought the full version of Lies of P with its Overture expansion.
Also:
Space Marine 2
Oblivion Remastered
Warhammer Boltgun
Going to also buy Stalker 2, and likely Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion.
I always find it risky buying lots of games before you play them. In the case there are problems running them, I've gone past refund time before. Couldn't help myself this time though.
Only one I held back on was Stalker 2 full edition with Season Pass. I bought the base game and will wait for Season Pass reviews before buying.
I also prefer waiting for a deeper sale, but since i got a new GPU, I lost control a bit.
Have looked over GMG, but never needed them since Fanatical always move to undercut them even by a few pence.
The downside of Fanatical is that they email at least once, every day. Makes me wonder if the savings are worth it, considering the email deletion administration time needed.
Thanks for heads up though, coz I always check out GMG when I am looking to buy.
"Humanity" was especially well done here, playing on a popular theme from both the source material and Dark Souls.
Forgot that I bought Everspace 2 as well. It's at a bargain price of £12.50.
These are the reasons it caught my eye in the first place, but I don't have time nor the patience for the Souls-like gameplay. Adding difficulty options and allowing us to play it as a more standard action-adventure game earned NEOWIZ many customers, I'd wager.
