Multiplayer is coming!
In case y'all aren't on the Lies of P subreddit I figured it would be courteous to drop this information here:
Lies of P is getting a multiplayer mod, and I am one of the devs! Ask me anything, I'll answer as many questions as I can!

Some people like to play video games with their friends. Crazy, I know.

Actual question, will enemy HP scale with number of players, or will the game just become a faceroll?
sounds sick cant wait!

Some people addicted to run everything in coop even if game not designed for it.
Yeah, crazy

Will you call the 2-player mode "Lies of PP" ?

The DLC made me reasonably suspicious we might get something like this officially in the sequel...
This will be a pretty cool way to revisit the game with some friends of mine. Good luck with development!

People want to enjoy video games however they want, is it really necessary to call them "addicts"? It's not affecting you or anyone else in any way

Ehhh, I was pretty excited about the Skyrim multiplayer mod, but that turned out to be complete wank, so I'll get excited when it actually works.

Actually, could affect. And will affect a lot, if devs will hear that people and imagine that they have a majority. I'd rather play new DLC with good story and new combat mechanics than will receive coop update.
And yeah, addicted because some people asking for coop EVERYWHERE, no matter which game is it, no matter if they even launched it. When you want something despite anything...
Don't take it personally)

God forbid people want to enjoy games socially lmao. Every other souls game has multiplayer and this game was, in fact, balanced around multiple targets for bosses to aggro onto. I genuinely don't get people like you sh1tting on cool projects and mods just because you wouldn't personally enjoy it yourself.
1. How does difficulty scale in multiplayer? Are there toggles/sliders/etc for it?

2. In earlier versions of Lies of P, many enemies (especially early game ones) attacked more aggressively. Would you consider adjusting enemy aggression as part of multiplayer scaling, or making that an adjustable option?
Not sure how complicated this would be, so sorry if this is asking for something insanely work intensive.

3. Can players use the specter in multiplayer?

4. Does Bell of Provocation (the Fable Art on the Clock Sword Handle) actually emit a status change, or is it applied individually to each player? The effect is worded as if it affects nearby enemies in an AoE, but I'm suspicious of that.
And do multiple instances of it stack or have other weird interactions?

Btw, thanks for working on the mod. Lies of P has so much potential as a modded game, and now that the DLC is out, I'm hoping people hop on the train. There's a randomizer mod that was out before the DLC which was SO much fun, and a lotta potential for Hard mode mods which hasn't manifested yet... I had so much fun playing Elden Ring in seamless co-op, and I'd love to do that in Lies of P.
