A tip for perfect block is that you need to hold the block button before the enemy hits not during the hit, if you block too early you still get a normal block off, and that allows you to regain the damage done.
Do not expect to master perfect block quickly, just focus on positioning and normal blocks.

What's with all the paragraphs?
I get a pretty stable 120fps for the game.
Not having poise sucks… Having some poise while charging a heavy attack would be nice.
I wouldn’t mind getting hit if I could still deal damage... or break the enemy’s stance.
You do get some super armor on some heavy attacks, and some fable arts too.
Elemental dmg is also a call to attack more, like thunder gives a defense down, so you want to ham during that debuff. U can get it tho.
The block system is pretty ok, you can heal back plenty of dmg as long as you arent hit for real. Even better for perfect. For dodge, even if the roll feels different, just combine it w sprint and good position, it becomes decent.
throwables are pretty strong here, the dmg and the speed. They are on par with your attacks.
Cheat engine? Turning down the difficulty didn't work? Most of the thread has been agreeing with you that the game's difficult.
I think this rally system is better than bloodbornes myself, and i thought thunder just made enemies stagger more easily.
thankfully consumables, legion arms, and i-frames exist and are very strong so i've only truly struggled on a few bosses so far. also seems like you can cheese a lot of enemy melee chains by dodging forward and left lol
