this game really hard
nice game but really hard game. I finished dark souls 1,2,3 and i finished elden ring but it was not this hard..There are those who say Sekiro is easy, I realized that Sekiro is an extremely difficult game. If I do 1 parry, I cannot do 10. The guys are pros and say it is easy.

Your problem is that your muscle memory from dark souls is messing you up, dodging is more about positioning than it is i-frames, then it is block and perfect block.

A tip for perfect block is that you need to hold the block button before the enemy hits not during the hit, if you block too early you still get a normal block off, and that allows you to regain the damage done.

Do not expect to master perfect block quickly, just focus on positioning and normal blocks.
It's a hard game and some of the bosses are badly designed. Most aren't though and they're perfectly balanced. There will be plenty of replies saying "get gud" but that's easy to say after you've beaten the bosses and are in new game +. I guarantee you most of them couldn't figure it out very easily first run either they just like to feel good about themselves cause their parents don't. Just keep trying different strats and if all else fails cheese it.

It can also be because this game has the smallest parry window out of any soulsborne game clocking in at around 112ms, in comparision to Sekiro which has around 200ms and Elden Ring which has around 167ms with the worst equipment, you can mod the game to make this window bigger or you can just get better, some attacks are unfair with that parry window tbh.

Yep, Sekiro and Dark Souls are different games.
...
What's with all the paragraphs?

I get a pretty stable 120fps for the game.

It’s not that hard, the biggest problem with the game is that the P doesn’t have poise.
Not having poise sucks… Having some poise while charging a heavy attack would be nice.
I wouldn’t mind getting hit if I could still deal damage... or break the enemy’s stance.

You do get some super armor on some heavy attacks, and some fable arts too.
the flow is def different. Aggression is rewarded more here. Charge heavy or hit as often as you can, the boss will flinch( not stance break) and you can dump 2 more charge heavies.

Elemental dmg is also a call to attack more, like thunder gives a defense down, so you want to ham during that debuff. U can get it tho.

The block system is pretty ok, you can heal back plenty of dmg as long as you arent hit for real. Even better for perfect. For dodge, even if the roll feels different, just combine it w sprint and good position, it becomes decent.

throwables are pretty strong here, the dmg and the speed. They are on par with your attacks.

really ? which card are you using
Don't say the game is really hard or not hard. You're a pro and you're saying it's not hard. Luckily, the cheat engine works so I don't have to download a trainer. I wish I hadn't bought it. I passed the 2 hour refund period. Don't pay attention to people saying it's easy. I laugh at those who call parry-focused games easy.

But that still doesn’t justify having zero poise.

You don't have zero poise, super armor and poise are the same thing. You just only get it during certain attacks.

Cheat engine? Turning down the difficulty didn't work? Most of the thread has been agreeing with you that the game's difficult.

I think this rally system is better than bloodbornes myself, and i thought thunder just made enemies stagger more easily.
for me, parry window is just a little too small and too many wind-up/delayed attacks. also unlike sekiro there's no stagger bar which IMO this game needs something like that instead of the flashing white. i would think otherwise if parry window was a bit bigger

thankfully consumables, legion arms, and i-frames exist and are very strong so i've only truly struggled on a few bosses so far. also seems like you can cheese a lot of enemy melee chains by dodging forward and left lol
