FORCED CONTROLLER USAGE
Please get rid of the forced controller usage. I play on PC for a reason. The developers purposefully made it so you cannot map 'all' keys for PC players. They only let you map some of them. For example I cannot change 'Guard' to Mouse Button 5 (side button). That setting is nowhere to be found. If it is, it is well hidden.

That's not forced controller usage, but yes the few hard coded keys (for both keyboard/mouse and some for controllers) are annoying and should have been fixed.


However guard is a key you should be able to rebind, if the game doesn't detect mouse 5 for this action somehow, you can rebind your mouse externally via it's brand's software if there is one or via similar keyboard/mouse remap open source softwares or Microsoft's.

Inside a profile for Lies of P, in which you can bind mouse 5 to a combo you will never use ingame like "Ctrl Numpad+" or something else the game would accept for guard. Some of those customization/remap softwares automatically switch of profile according to if you have in focus one specific software/game so you don't have to switch them manually
