Any single damage stat has pretty significant falloff past a certain point. You might get better sustained damage by investing in something like stamina instead.
element is different tho... for some reason the best of element is only showing dmg +2-3 or somthing like that while other stats are showing physical attack + 6-8 or whatever. Even tho it displays a tiny number it hits like a truck. Either its not honest, or maybe its because taking advantage of elemental bonuses( applying shock reduces defense, applying burn reduces fire defense....etc) is pretty huge. So they nerfed how element grows.
Physical dmg will def get nothing for advance, its just helping element. Swords that do pure physical dmg but scale w advance prob have elemental fable arts. ( unless you set that up yourself with an advance crank)
