This user reports it works for Overture but has some quirks like some quartz not making sense after some P-Organ upgrades being patched and needing to backtrack for some minor items.
A quick respec and perhaps some backtracking if you care and you’d be set for the DLC, where you could return to where you were fairly quickly if you drop the difficulty down.

Stuff like this is fun to figure out in and of itself. I once had to do something similar to unbrick a save file in a different game.
Don't know which specifically you need from "moonstone shards", but Hidden is G1 and Crescent is G2. These are the item commands you need to enter:
