FPS drops/lags on NVIDIA 50 series

I played the game at launch on Game Pass with an AMD 6700 XT. At that time, the game ran perfectly—zero lag or stuttering.

Recently, I got a 5070 and decided to buy and replay the game on Steam. But now the game constantly lags, freezes, and has frequent FPS drops. I’ve tried all settings—whether high or low, with or without DLSS—the game just performs poorly. Has anyone else experienced this?

A month ago, I tried this game for the first time, and everything works perfectly. But now fps is constantly dropping, I think it's a problem with nvidia drivers. 5070 ti

It could be a driver issue of some kind. I use a RTX 3050 6G on best settings 30 fps and it is running very stable for me.

Check for the latest driver update available and install them. If that does not fix the issue try uninstalling and reinstalling your NVIDIA driver.

If any of the things I've said did not work than it could be that the latest driver update is what causing the issue. Try rolling back to an older driver update and see if that solves the issue. Rolling back to an older driver update is a temporary fix until NVIDIA fixes the problem in a newer update.

I had the latest driver 576.88 installed, and the game was performing poorly. I did a clean reinstall of the driver using the NVIDIA app, and the issue seems to be resolved—the game is now running smoothly.

Perhaps a clean driver reinstall might work for others as well

I installed the fix version of the 576.66 drivers, and it almost fixed the situation. Now, according to the graph, it has decreased by ~99% to 60 frames per second, and not as before to 30-40.
