The general consensus is that the game has evolved in a very positive way, enhancing the overall player experience. The only recurring concern I've seen mentioned is some performance issues for players with 5000 series graphics cards. Hopefully, future updates will fully address that for those users but i think some players have found workarounds.
The DLC for Lies of P is amazing; lots of work went into it, and the price tag is definitely reasonable for the content you get. But of course, this is dependent on if you rush through it. It adds new areas, new weapons, new bosses, and overall, I would say the player base is happy with the DLC. It's definitely worth a play if you are looking for a challenge or to enjoy the lore surrounding the story.
I'll echo this. I always take my time on an initial play through. I only get one so might as well savor it.
I got about 35-40 hours out of the dlc on my first trip.
