Puppets: Weak to Electric Blitz
Carcasses: Weak to Fire
Humans: Weak to Acid
There is also some who fall into more then one but feel free to use their weakness against them to deal more damage to the tanker enemies. Of course I do have lots more advice for combat but I wont flood the comments unless asked to do so.
One thing that may help, if you don't already have it down, is to learn to dodge effectively. You don't need to block/parry everything all the time, there's certain attacks that are easier and more beneficial to dodge through instead (and some, especially in the DLC, that you must dodge through). In general, if you see a slow, single-hit, non-fury attack, you can just move out of the way or time your dodge.
For example, Mad Clown has a move where he kneels down and then thrusts his belly forward to attack. You can parry it, but there's no point (afaik). If you instead dodge to the side, you can get a free attack on his back during his long recovery animation.
Indomitable Grindstone can also help if you have it. It adds something like +30% to a weapon's guard ratio. Using it with a bulkier weapon allows you to block all attacks without losing any HP (but watch your stamina). This can help you learn the timing on weird attacks without putting yourself in as much danger.
Hey . Really kind of you for the reply 🙏🏻. And the fire, current and acid properties against different type of enemies is also I know . My friend told me about it. And yeah I am talking about the big fat clown in that fire area and yeah who does a spin and then throws his arm which extends pretty long.
Btw I need advice for enemies like this clown guy who have very high resistance against physical attacks coz their HP decreases very slowly. And yeah fyi I am using my first weapon from start and leveling it up and yeah from this clown guy fight I have decided to increase my stamina as well. Till now I had most focus on strength and technique coz my weapon specialzes in technique.
So yeah please give some advice on this matter. Thanks
Hey. Thanks for the reply and really kind of you for replying 🙏🏻. Yeah , I am talking about the same guy around the fire area. And I defeated it by going at the back area and building the stargazer. And then I fought with him at that place. I used fable arts and charged attacks and all. After like 11-12 tries I defeated him.
So if you have some advice for defeating this type of enemies who have very high resistance to physical attacks as his HP was decreasing very slowly and was so annoying. Btw I am using my first weapon of the game even till now as I am leveling it up. And my focus is strength and technique as my weapon is based on this. So any advice specially like this type of monsters. Because I had no problem with 3rd main boss(2 tries) and 4th boss monster (one with 2 phases and mask one) (1st try). But this guy was so tough for me. Like the toughest and most difficult monster for me till now. So some unique advice will be great.
Thanks
Also, don't neglect defense. Build up your Vitality if you aren't, and try to stay under 60% weight.
Master the Stagger & Fatal Attack Loop
This is your absolute top priority for high-HP foes. Chipping away with light attacks is inefficient; your primary goal is to build up the invisible "stagger" meter.
Perfect Guards are Paramount: Every successful Perfect Guard significantly contributes to an enemy's stagger. Against enemies with long, multi-hit combos (like the Mad Clown's infamous spin), chaining multiple Perfect Guards is the fastest way to achieve a stagger.
Charged Heavy Attacks are Your Finishers: When the enemy's HP bar flashes white, it means they are vulnerable to a stagger. Immediately follow up with a fully charged heavy attack (hold down your strong attack button). This will knock them down, allowing for a devastating Fatal Attack (press your regular attack button when prompted). which causes big damage.
Use Throwing Objects:
Shot put - will cause big stagger damage and make the outline of enemies glow white a lot sooner and regularly use these when struggling.
Throwing cell - will cause good damage against puppet type enemies
Your Fable Arts: (bottom right of your screen) will also cause good damage and stagger so don't forget to use them, the key to many of the fights in this game is learning the enemies moveset and perfect guarding or using any other defence if you can hit without being hit, just keep up the hard work and have fun.
Blood artist is way easier than that dude. Although now I’m sad that I’ve maxed the achievements and hit stat cap. Gotta find a new project until the sequel comes.
There will be other strong +-tanky enemy - Giant Kid Puppet (Mischievous Puppet) in Swamp, which is jumping and hug you, but I managed to kill him much faster anyway.
his spin combos and spring punch are so satisfying to guard once you get the timing down
Hey yeah I did the same like using the electric blitz and throwable . Yeah one thing i had like around 70% weight at that time . But still ig patience is the key here. But anyways hime and I defeated the king of puppets yesterday. :)
