Since you're so close to the endgame, tackling the DLC on your current playthrough would be the best option, you'll unlock all the new items, amulets, and unique weapons on the same playthrough at least this way you will have more of a selection of gear to choose from if you decide to change your build up for the NG+ to keep it spicy.

do DLC. U should be powerful enough.

They updated it, now you can start the DLC on NG+ at chapter 5 as soon as you get to Path Of The Pilgrim

do it after you finish base game bro, its a nice transition coz its harder

Laxasia is like a normal enemy in the DLC.

I would finish the game first. You don't have to NG+ right away after beating the game. The base game's ending will be way too easy if you do the DLC first.
