Do I need to buy DLC right away??
As title said... does it change the way I play?? like there is new option or new QOL on the base game when I bought the DLC?? or is it just a new story that can be start after I finish the base game??

The dlc is mostly closed off from the main game, only crossover is some dialog after completing it with specific npcs.

It's 95% just a side story. After completing the DLC a few cosmetic changes transfer over to the main world, a few lore scraps have new additions, and you also get a whole load of new equipment of course. But it's mostly just a side story, you can certainly play it after completing the main campaign.
