Performance on 50 series cards!!!
Please, we need an update addressing the poor performance and stuttering when playing with a 50 series card, it's insanely frustrating that i had a way better experience when i was playing with my 3080 than now with a 5080. I love the game but this must be looked at as it makes it very unpleasant to play, please!

definitely
The only fix I've found was to enable Smooth Motion in the driver settings. It completely fixed it for me. but yeah, if you dont like fake frames it's not ideal (even tho I didn't notice any difference, the latency was more than fine and the temps dropped)

The 580 driver seems to work better for me, i can play for about 3 hours before i need to restart.

after cleran installing the driver now i have the same, it starts running nicely but then after a while performance drops hard even under 60 fps feels like some sort of memory leak behind the scenes but dunno if it's driver or game related. I wrote to the devs support email and they responded that they will escalete the issue and take a look at it i hope they can fix it fast.
Try this: Set frame limit to half of your screen's current fps, enable AMD superFX and set it to quality, set FSR grame generation to on and keep DLSS off. I get a solid 120fps with my 5090 with these settings and it doesn't really go down either.

DLSS in this is absolutely broken

it does help but i am not fond of using frame gen when i clearly don't need to, thanks for the tip anyway

It's unfortunately the only method I got working for not getting sub-60 frame drops and keep the game smooth

What's the problem? I have stable 140 fps in 4k (lock to 140), DLSS is disabled, no stuttering. ReBar enabled.
I haven't been to the DLC.

I have a 5070ti and I realized that, at least on my end, the only performance issue is a memory leak that speeds up when loading areas. Using stargazer, dying and teleporting between stargazers, especially the latter two, are what degrade performance really fast.

Restarting the game fixes it, temporarilly, of course. So my way around it was waiting to the end of my session to do side quests that required back tracking and to go to the hotel to upgrade and continue some dialogues, finally closing the game already in the stargazer I wanted to continue next session. Not ideal but the only way to play it avoiding most stuttering.
