Question
Is there a way to save a game?
I wan't to get the achievements for the different endings possibly in one game.
So I logged out, just before entering the Abyss to encounter Gepetto.

Is there a way to manage this?

back up your save file somewhere, then replace it after getting an ending. You'll have to do a second run of the game anyway if you're already past Sophia since that decides whether you get the good ending or best ending and they're mutually exclusive.

Could get the bad ending, then reload your save and get whichever other ending you have available, then dedicate your NG+ run (which is substantially easier) to whichever third one you missed.
You can move save files on the local Steam folder of the game and with Steam Cloud disabled but to get every endings It depends on the choices you made during the game. If you went one path it may need to replay quite a chunk of the game which is not that worth since for achievements you need to replay the game multiple times anyway
The game also doesn't really seem to be designed for messing with save files so keep a copy of the whole folder to make sure if you do it
I'm in the Steam Library/steam apps/common/Lies of P/Saved/Saved Ganes/ then some Number/

In that Folder there are 4 Sav. Files (Account 1/Account 2/Option Slot/ Save Data-1_Char1.sav and Ditto Char_2. Sav. and
Steam autocloud.vdf

So which one do I need to copy. Or is that the wrong folder Im looking at?
Or should I just copy the entire "Saved Games" Folder?

I did save Sophia, so I want to give my heart and refuse it, for the endings.

In NG+ I get to keep the weapons, clothes and Baddges I got in first run? And Inventory/Materials?

Btw. How many NG+ can you follow up? Ng+ and then NG++ and then it's over?

Thanks.

I'd say the easier is just to copied the whole folder with lot of numbers, likely the save's ID, paste it somewhere you can find back easely and add on the folder name a short description of where it was ingame when you copy them. And when putting them in the Steam folder you remove that part of the folder name to only keep the numbers as it was originally.
You can copy the Saved folder but it will include the Config folder so if you ever do setting changes they won't stay between copies of your save

It forces you to have the equipement you had at the moment of the copy of the folder but at least it also prevents incoherent data between files. Other issue is you have to do it manually and at useful moments since the game doesn't provide iterated save or on few slots

I haven't done any NG+, at least yet, so I can't say exactly. You would have more detailed answers on a wiki, past forum threads or even maybe YouTube videos

For the number of NG+, around DLC's release lot of people were saying they shared their love of the game saying they had like seven or height NG+... and said stuff about it still scaling the difficulty which apparently messed even more the DLC's difficulty for them. So I think it goes as far as you want or if there's a limit it's pretty high

Thanks. Did just that and got two endings fixed.
I'm still screwed, because I aparently didn't lie enough and the pinochio-portrait weapon can not be collected.
I read, that this will be reset in NG+ and I will have to lie every time. Problem is, that I need to tell the truth to get the last ending I need (Free of the puppet strings). I doubt I will manage that last puppet boss at a harder level. I took me ages to win this time and it was literaly on the last drop of my blood.
That thing is so fast, you cant run to safety, or even find time to press a key to restore some health. I sure could have needed that helpfull ghost in that one.
It sucks that this game has no save function.

You can still get the "Free From the Puppet String" ending even when lying as much as possible otherwise as long as you select "Let her live". If you do the DLC, you should have enough humanity to get Golden Lie without selecting "Give her peace". Regardless, I recommend creating a save backup right before that point of no return just in case to expedite having to do a third run.

If NG+ is daunting, remember that lowering the difficulty is an option; try to stick to LS anyway since even though things hit harder you also have way more power yourself, esp. with the NG+ quartz upgrades and speed of leveling.

I don't have the DLC, just the core game.
I did miss several thigs in first game. Like Belle never came to the Hotel. Then that sidequest with the whistle.
So to get the "free of strings" ending, all I need to do is let her live.
Ok. Thanks.

Then why you even going for achievments if there are dlc exclusive achievments added without having dlc"?

Maybe they want to complete their first run before getting the DLC later or don't want to 100% but at least get as much as they can
Hello.
What must I do to that Giangio sells me the medicine for Antonia? I am in chapter 9, just before entering the black rabbit hideout. I had the talk with the Butler in the courtyard. She is now sitting in Gepettos office and says the standard stuff.
I now had my third playthrough and still wasn't able to trigger the refined old Lady Achievement.

I did everytthing according to Wiki:

I picked up the letter from Polendina at the counter and spoke with him.
When he asked, if love between puppet and human is possible, I showed him the ring I got from the Julian Quest. (Was that wrong?). On Wiki it explains that showing the Ring would be the "Lie", on another site it say's it's telling him the truth. I would say its obvisiously the truth, because Julian did love a puppet and she loved him. So do I need to lie, and say there is "no such thing", for the "cure" to be available?
I kept cheking on Giangio, but he never had the dialog of offering medicine, nor did Polindina say anything of her condition getting worse. He just said he will stay at her side no matter what...
I defeated champion Victor, then checked again if I could buy medicine, or if the Butler made any reference to her condition. Same dialog as usual.
Is there something at the Grand Exhibition I need to pick up to trigger a possible medicin from Giangio?

I proceeded in the game, because Wiki said, the Butler will eventually mention her condition.
Nothing. Same old line. And Giangio offers no medicen.

I can't get her record (the only one missing). I did get the golden one from a vendor. I didn't get the greet gesture.
This is really pissing me off.
I don't know where I had gone wrong.

Does someone have a link where I can get the correct procedure, to trigger the cure so I can collect my achievements?
Thanks
