some bosses are way too spammy for what the player character can do and it just ends up feeling bad to play
Secondly, Arlecchino is one of the better bosses. He's actually pretty easy BECAUSE he jumps from one set to another. The parrying mechanic favours the player greatly. His heal punish is a move I appreciated greatly because they visually indicate it to you rather than just a sudden advance that usually happens in these sorts of games. Like any 'input-reading' in these games, once you know the rules, it's often easy to exploit and makes the game easier. And they make the rules quite clear here.
Regarding his second phase, the transition is probably a tad overdone. Hard to say, once you learn to parry it, the punish windows are rather generous. Worst case, I've seen the grindstone that let's you auto parry covers most, if not all, of the transition, so you can always use that. It's supposed to be a climactic moment so I think it's fine as it is. It's definitely a hurdle in the fight but I can't say the first phase is hard enough that it's an issue.
I will also say I dislike the saws that are thrown with the follow up Fury Attack. Response to that move is a bit hard as it changes greatly depending on the distance you're at and it's the only move that gives me trouble still. However, that doesn't negate everything they've done right with this fight, and the others.
Voice-wise... eh, whatever, it's probably a bit much but I'd rather that than too little. It's only really an issue if you're frustrated while fighting him. If you're enjoying the fight, it's a welcome addition. Again, it's a climactic moment, he's a big bad who you've spent a good amount of time listening to him yap. I'd be insulted if he didn't yap a bit more. I do think his solo dialogue is a bit limited compared to using Lea but that just makes sense.
Regarding attack windows, all I can say is that I didn't have any issue using the Living Puppet Handle and the Bone-Saw Blade. I don't know if there are many slower weapons than that but if I can find charged heavy attack windows with that, you should be fine with most weapons, if not, you may need to adjust your play-style (or 'git gud' as the kids say).
Lastly, I don't know what the play is pretending to not know the characters name. They're an well established character from the game that crops up quite regularly. Worst case, it's a two second google or, hell, just a search on these forums of which you seem familiar.
Saws into fury slam is OK, but if he saws into command grab it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over for me.
