Has anybody tested "lowers weapon durability consumption as weight increases"?
Does it work based on numerical weight, or weight tier? After a certain point, it seems like stacking damage at max durability and trying to keep it maxed is the next step in min maxing damage, but I'm never going above normal weight tier, so I'm just curious if anybody has tested that or not before I waste time.

honestly haven't messed with it myself since playing on anything but Light feels wrong at this point, but I assume it'd be based on equip load tier rather than weight in a void. Could test it out pretty fast vs the Krat dummies using the amulet from the DLC that forces you to be overweight

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I'll probably just test it after I get the more important stuff. I did find one article of someone testing it and they said it was pretty mediocre regardless, but he didn't mention if it was based on tier or numerical weight. I think he said it kept you from losing a durability point for one attack every couple of hits, which doesn't sound like much on paper, but being able to get a few hits in at max damage, then perfect guard to get your durability back without having to grind could be pretty useful in the long run. Everything that saves you from losing durability adds up in boss fights I'm sure. Evidently they had to nerf damage at max durability it at some point too so it has to be good to an extent.
yea the durability grindstone is kind of busted in NG++
