Can you save them?(Overture DLC Spoilers)
So in the Overture dlc, you come across two individuals that are afflicted with the petrification disease.

The first guy you run into is called Sweeper Survivor. And he is in a room in the laboratory area right before you fight Veronique the Blue Goat(A fight with her hammer will ring a bell). Now you can interact with him but he kind of asks for help with his pain.

Now I left him and I return to him and he was dead. Gemini says "it's sad, but nothing we could of done"

Now the other guy is Lummachio, he first him in the Eventide Krat Hotel and he later becomes a boss. You can spare him after the fight but once again, if you leave him and return to him, he dies.

Just wondering if there was way to save either of them.

Hmm I was thinking that maybe you can use the medicine or cure that the guy who you give gold coins to. It would be mean you have to carry the cure to the past and give it them. But I always help Antonia.

The lore reason for why this doesn't work is that Giangio tells you the cure is unstable and has to be administered ASAP. It's safe to assume that by the time you reach the people you want to give this to in the past, it has "expired".
