Hi! If your Tinkering skill is too high to break stuff "on purpose", the best way to exercise the Repair skill is waiting for stuff to break. The more you use it, the faster it'll break, so if you're going for a completionist or time-based playthrough, the best thing to do is to shower, use the toilet, or wash your hands a bunch, until the shower, toilet or sink breaks. Of course, having another Tiny in the household who doesn't have a high Tinkering skill is also an option :)

thank you for your help! i also adopted a child so i could make all the foods. i'm hoping when they grow up they can break stuff on purpose for me. and i replaced my appliances with low reliability ones ;)

Alternatively, if you don't mind cheating:

Activate Debug Mode by opening the Console Commands (Hotkey on PC: F1) and typing in "ShowDebugActions". Once activated, you'll get a light blue notification that says it's been enabled. Click on a toilet and select "Toggle Broken". When you're done, type in "ShowDebugActions" and Debug Mode gets turned off (again, you should get a notification that it's been disabled).

This can also be done to dirty an object if you wish to level Cleaning.
