I could have sworn the devs said somewhere before that they refused to add negative traits. But, lo and behold, I tried out the Griffin beta and there they are: flaws. This opens up a lot of possibilities for modding.
They did many times. :p
When? Flaws that give more form points seem to be entirely new to the latest beta update.
They said no to them many times. They just added them recently. I love them, I feel like somewhere in the early mid portion of the game (previously) every race feels similar with a few tweaks.
I'm not sure what changed but I'm glad they did. I've pointed out many times one of my main criticisms of AoW4 is you could literally remove every 'form' except human and absolutely nothing would actually change. Obviously the addition of flaws doesn't solve that problem, but it's a step in the right direction.
