This ain't Carmageddon bros...

What the hell happened anyway? Didn't the original creators get the IP rights back, way back when they released Max Damage? Why is this name being slapped on a random car combat game now?

Not to rag on the game itself, it could be alright. Could be terrible too. Either way, putting the Carmageddon name on it is such a bad idea that only invites criticism from fans of the oldschool Carma games. Because who is this game for otherwise? If you use a name with an established cult following, the least you could do is to make a game that will appeal to that audience, not alienate it.

If this was a follow up in the style of Max Damage or Carma 2 with beefier gfx and physics, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
