Carmageddon: Rogue Shift

Carmageddon: Rogue Shift

Devolver Digital - this was your chance.
I'll reserve my full judgment until I actually play this game - however, no open world, zombies instead of humans, and various changes mentioned by others detract from an actual Carmageddon game.

Devolver Digital was quite possibly the only publisher that could have delivered the original vision.

TL:DR I suspect this game will be DOA

If I were a betting men I'd say that is a pretty safe bet.
Yeah, DD seems to be the only lads who knows what customers are waiting.

This is what happens when a company wants to decide what the fans what rather than letting the fans decide what they want and making a product for that want.

It's completely reverse economics. No demand->tons of supply.

That looks like a any generic budget car combat title.
The cars in Carmageddon always looked rough and cartoonish.
And why are there closed circuit tracks?
Carmageddon always had a big area and the checkpoints were placed somewhere in those area to create a "track".
In between you could flatten pedestrians to fill your remaining time limit.
This title isn`t worth to wear "Carmageddon" in it`s name.

And yeah, definitely isn't worth to be named Carmageddon. Absolutely.
If Devolver digital took the series under its wing, maybe it would turn out to be something 100% good, and not like this disgrace under the pretext of "well, it's a spinoff"

Best in a world spin-off, made by second in the universe devteam! Remember that!
