Your specs are more than enough to play the game. At which resolution are you playing?
Hmm are you playing with vsync on or use the synchronisation from the OS (can be set in the settings menu: Display)?
I've tried both V-sync on and off, and I'm playing at 1440p.
And I've tried synchronization both on and off.
Yes to windows. And I don't use desktop scaling, I believe? I just keep it all native.
Population data, faction, build and any menu that pops up on a item in the world interaction (like clicking a tree) will give a significant fps drop to single digits.
I am seeing the same issues. (similar specs to Xalderin bnbut mine is R5 5600, rx 6800 GPU, 16 gb ram) In window mode at 1080p.
desktop refresh rate 144hz, 5120x2160
Also tried 3440x1440 / 144hz
scaling at 100%
Windows 10 22h Update, GPU driver 22.11.2
Any menu drops my fps down to 7-10fps
It seems like it only happens on AMD GPUs with OpenGL which may hint an issue with a custom shader and I've found some topics in online forums about it. But then again the window for a tree is just a default panel with a grid for the items, some labels, rects and some buttons. Hmm but I think we slowly get close to it.
