Playtest without Discord?
I understand the last playtest just finished in March, but in case there's another in the future:

Is it possible to sign up for a playtest purely through Steam or by email, or is use of Discord mandatory?

I'll take that as a "no", then (I'm not interested in using Discord in any shape or form, including the browser version).

Good luck with the tests. Game looks interesting, wishlisted and followed.
