Using an abandoned barn structure next to the military checkpoint in Grid B4. Everything you need for a SP game or running solo/team on a MP server (recommend reinforced palisade walls for MP for added defense)

The trick to this is setting up this base is the first 'airlock' seen below, after that I expanded a bit and toyed with the second level inside the barn. I find the player-built structures a bit obstructive to viewing so minimized the second level to mostly storage and a window to vault through onto my balcony for defense.

This is my old base from a few versions ago. It was the last screenshot I took before finishing it. Simply forgot to take that final screenshot. oops. Better than nothing eh.
