Yeah I'm on the closed beta. It's... ok. Graphics are a bit old and the controls don't feel solid, plus everything but the tutorial is broken.

But definitely some solid concepts there that could be really fun.

5v5 doesn't seem like it could be much fun. I've been struggling to get people to form squads of 5 and play in teams of 2-3 squads.

Only 5v5? Yeah.....that's more like a squad shooter than something that would work well as an RTS/FPS, but I'd have to play it to know for sure.

There are NPCs which the commander can create, control or assign to the FPS to control.

Sold. I was with some of you that are on the fence until I read about the commander creating AI and assigning it to players. Makes it a bit more than 5v5 and should fill the maps I imagine.

That aspect makes me think of a game called "Damage Incorporated" from long ago. You got a bunch of squadies who would follow various orders. Using them wisely in PVP got pretty interesting. I can't wait to see what team co-op with such a squad looks like.

i got a chance to mess with it (in a full bot game because nobody was playing). i want to say my only complaint is that there isnt much 'impact' yet when it comes to shooting someone or taking a hit.
i found myself a lot of times in situations where im in a firefight and i glance at my hp and realize 'oh ♥♥♥♥ im almost dead' without having realized i took a hit. characters dont have proper reactions to getting hit as well. and this left the game feeling a bit hollow in my opinion. but if they fix that i'd be content
