Wow! Somebody got butthurt again and again starts to insult competitors by posting seems-to-be-relevant seem-to-be arguments. Seriously? You still think someone believes you? When you grow up finally?
For those who doesn't follow up here is the link on what has happened on of the previous times he felt a theat for his throne: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/17710/discussions/0/611702631228991342/
The first reports came in of turrets dealing 5x their normal damage. Now people are asking why their sniper scopes are messed up. If new players see this ♥♥♥♥, they're going to quit.
The game developer told me changing this causes things to get out of sync. So I tested it myself. He was right. Turrets starting dealing crazy amounts of damage.
Don't play on these servers guys. If you see things like 128 tick, choose anther server.
How fast have you come to such a conclusion.
LEAVE. PEOPLE. ALONE.
It doesn't have to be this way with broken sniper scopes and massive turret damage.
IMHO, if someone wants to offer a better server than Redstone; match the 100% performance with a 60 tick-rate at 32 players. Don't break the game, by messing with unstable settings.
I know any 128 tick server will crash if it fills up. Redstone's i7-4770 is faster. It can't handle it.
How funny you are. Volunteer to taking care of all the ND, this sounds so noble. But at the end if the day you criticize only servers which are polished enough to be decent competitors. You never cared about other servers, despite some of them do have serious issues.
As for your statement, only thing people see now is mentioning "reports" from your imaginary friends, no proofs.
But my main point is you really DON'T CARE about ND unless this does hurt your ego. And you know it.
LEAVE. PEOPLE. ALONE.
All you do is sit on these forums and complain when people are playing on Redstone.
You have a much bigger ego than I do. This ruins your emotional attachment to Nuclear Dawn. I can tell by how anxious you are: your whole life must be falling a part right now. I told you to go the doctor, but you don't listen and keep on ruminating. This is not healthy for you.
Also - you have ignored my question (as usual), so I repeat: why do you put your critics only on the most competitive servers?
(I skip your last paragraph because you were obviously speaking to yourself at that moment)
It's rare see an i7-4770 server with 100% performance when full. Then to go one step further and make the game more balanced at 32 players, with intellgent resource spawns is astronomical.
I put critics on other servers so they can improve and offer the Nuclear Dawn community better servers. Not to mess with tick-rates and create game breaking issues, is a good piece of advice.
People don't like broken sniper scopes and massive amounts of turret damage. It ruins the game.
No you do this solely for advertising your own servers. It is clear for everyone who reads this thread from the beginning. And you AGAIN don't answer my question: why you criticize only those servers which could potentially compete with yours?
FYI: *advice* is some helpful information, not something like "my server is better" statement. You should learn this concept after understanding what logic is (see above).
So you put equal sign between issues (reported by your imaginary friends) and all other servers, do I get you right?
People are drawn to Redstone by Tom Cruise, Triple Kill! and some other cool guys, which (yeah) can be found here. It's weird, but for some reason they are all from Canada. Ow, how could I forget, they are your smurf accounts and you need them to populate your server when there are not enough people there to entice people from others servers to play on yours. And one-two guys who are constantly playing on your server to attach population. I don't know if they are getting paid, but this is really strange. It is really boring to wait for people to join and play with sharp AF bots with a single person on the enemy team :|. Ah, and I forgot to mention you here, Brandon. In case in insuffecient playerbase on your server you will surely come and help with it in spectator mode or playing a bit. And of cource, after a several hours of waiting, people will slowly join in for a round or two, until they get bored and leave again (15-16 peak and not all the time, only if you will get lucky, not including events on weekdays, do not mention them pls).
Frankly speaking, a defined server to play is not important at all if people just want to play (please do not mention that this is not correct, that ultra-super-duper server peformance is required and this is the only right way people should choose a server to play). You are just trying to get all the population from other servers to yours by pure advertising (and there we go with fake proofs, vague facts, questioning promises and etc.). Aaaand you can do something with that. For example stop advertising your own server and let people to choose a server they want to play on independently, without your "advices", "low performance reports", offensive forums threads and etc.
Completely wrong x2. Just freaking bullsheet. In Nuclear Dawn for sure. You are the only person spending so much resources here. But in other games? Lol no xD. Ah, im happy that you are considering yourself an «astronomical»ly great coder, server operator, administrator, philosopher, sociologist and etc., just don’t go too high with it, may look funny and stupid for others ^^
They've been choosing Redstone lately. It has an i7-4770 without a messed up tick-rate.
Nobody is getting paid to do anything. Shame on people for starting remours. Players want facts when choicing a server. The remours come from desperate and unappreciative people.
I don't think Horizon started that. He usually asks these questions over steam.
It take a lot of hours in factory to pay for Redstone's i7-4770. It costs 21 342 rubles yearly. Money is not wasted - paying people to populate a server to deceive people. That is a remour.
real people. Sometimes players sit in spectator to help populate the server.
A couple idlers to help seed is not a bad thing. The downside is they interfere with other servers a little bit. Real players do the heavy lifting though, they just help for a couple hours.
It's better than people not playing due to broken sniper scopes and massive turret damage. Server operators should not mess around with the tick-rate. It causes game breaking issues.
Here we go again. You know because you're gonna do it again, just like before.
