Some server types that may be nice to have as an option:
1v1 Commander v Commander
16 slot King of the Hill
32 slot Russian/Asian Normal but modded/optimized
32 slot US Normal but modded/optimized
I'm all for typical sourcemod plugins though. Tried this with another free Source Engine game but the scripting is just not the same. It would take time, but I am devoted.
The servers being online aren't costing any money other than money that is already spent, as I have a plethora of other game servers hosted as well. I'm not expecting all of these Nuclear Dawn servers to be fully populated within a weeks timeframe or a month, it's just the fact t hat it's a lot better than having a totally empty server browser, and it's far more convenient when you look at said server browser and find a server you can connect to which is less than 1,000 miles away.
I want to specifically dedicate most of my time to South America, Africa and Asia servers, as these are the continents that are slowly receiving a lying web of fiberoptic internet connections, so pretty soon just about everyone East/West of the US will be online via satellite or fiber. No time for delays. Minimum foot through the door, at least.
Personally I don't have much time to play. I've been hosting game servers for many years when they were $1-$5 per slot depending on the configuration and only on Windows with TCAdmin. Game server hosting has come a long way and it is still not perfect.
