When are you going to make ND free to play?
The game is currently dead. It might get a resurgence of interest if you stop charging for the game. Zero $9 sales is 0 dollars. I'm sure once or twice a month, some poor clueless soul buys this game. Is that 10 or 20 dollars per month really worth essentially locking out a potential player base?

And what is with all the dense idiots on these forums who think that free to play means some sort of microtransactions? Free to play means free to play. What you are thinking free to play means is called "Freemium". When people advocate for this game being free to play, they aren't asking for a freemium model, they are asking the greedy SOBs who own this title to stop charging people for it so that a playerbase might evolve.

I played ND in it's hayday constantly. Unfortunately, it has waned. It would be great to see it chugging along again.

ND will not be free because there is no anybody who can make it free. Developers studio died, and a publisher doesn't care about this forgotten product.
Relax. It's dead and nothing will change. People from game community gathering together once or twice at month to play again, but that's all. There is no need for anything more and even making game free will not change something, because game is outdated. It's an old game from 2011 with short but glorious story. If it's makes you angry - go and play something else. Similar topics have appeared more than once, you can find many of them on the forum if you interested or you can ask some questions to old players.

free 2 play is not the only model just because it got popular. Honestly, I'm tired of "anti-mental-health" addiction game design. free 2 play is worse than pay one and done. Besides, it's like the other commenter said... the Developer and Publisher really aren't able to change it anyway. I really wish the "convenience above all" mindset wasn't crushing the intelligence and consideration mindset these days.

Just in speculation, if this game WERE to go F2P.... I would enjoy it very much. That would mean potentially more players and more fun to be had. I haven't played this in a long time and it's because of no players during times that I'm actually able to play it. Give it to me, baby
