Question regarding Buff/skill damage increase?
Ok.... so, I am going for a Weretiger/fire based build with the new skill update and I'm noticing that my base weapon damage (one weapon hit does 200dam while one tiger swipe does 50-60dam) is higher then when I am in in tiger form.

My question is what stats give damage buffs to the weretiger skill? Also below are a few more related questions about more specific things.

1. Is it only "Buff Strength" and "Skill Damage" that give the weretiger buff a damage increase?

2. Does the base weapon damage stats apply to the tiger skill at all? For example the tiger skill says "55% more basic attack damage" so does that imply that "basic attack damage" stats do apply to the tiger form?

Any clarification is appreciated. Also as a side note I absolutely LOVE the new skill system. It already seems to have 5 times the amount of depth as the original system, so props to the devs for the update! the only thing that would make this game even better would be more different armor/clothing sets for your character, but I understand that take a long time, and this is a small studio.

Will be looking into the tiger, sounds like a bug. The base weapon damage stat should apply to the tiger skill.

Thanks for the reply. I did not do too much testing but I noticed once I started using the "skill multiplier" nodes on an adjacent node to the Tiger skill, my damage was increased a good bit, making it viable again.

I guess I was confused on what "increased skill multiplier" did so I did not use them. I assuming now it is multiplicative damage given to the skill (still not sure). I know the game is still in EA, and its a very very small dev team, but is there anyway some of the terminology could be made a little more clearer, maybe with a simple hint/tips menu in the future?

Overall I really enjoy the game. Its a bit brutal if your gear is lacking later on but its an excellent and unique ARPG to play.

Keep up the great work:steamthumbsup:

I'm on my first playthrough and started Feral / Sentinel / Geomancer. Is it normal that the Geomancer's trigger-on-basic-attack passive won't trigger when you're in weretiger / pack leader form?

EDIT Wait, I'm dumb, those trigger spells aren't activating because I can't cast those spells while transformed unless I also put the cast-while-transformed skill on them.

Yup, the weretigers are not able to use all skills except the roars. So skills won't trigger using normal triggers. Trigger while transformed allows you to bypass this but at a penalty to damage.
