Local Co-op Status
How does the local Co-op work here? Do both player characters get to make and keep full progress? Intend to buy and only pay local co-op, I want to make sure that's fully supported. (Sometimes local co-op is supported but one person is sticking playing something less than a full character.) Thank you for any information.

Yes, local coop is with 2 full characters. The limitation is that the quest progress is only locked to the first character so other characters have to repeat the storyline if they want to play alone.

+1 I would also like to know. I've read in the reviews that controller controls suck, that would also be relevant. Would love to try this with 2 other friends.

i think if this game support online co-op , it would be such a great hit.

I mean I also read a review that said you cant move with mouse/keyboard so you need to use a controller but then you need to switch back to mouse for the menus. Such a weird lie. Idk how the controls are with a controller, but mouse/KB works flawlessly for me so far. I can test out how it plays with controller after work tonight and let you know. But unfortunately, I can't help ya with the co-op part.

Local coop is pretty clunky in my opinion, so much so that it hindered our enjoyment (we played with 3 players):
- you can play with Mouse+KB and controllers, but then whenever KB and the first controller are in their respective menus, their description get all buggy, meaning only 1/2 players can check their inventory at the same time
- Clicking the left analog stick to see the drops also freezes input from all other players
- you have to watch UI scaling, otherwise the menus overlap each other, but font is hard to read when using non-overlapping UI scaling.

I think there was more, this is off the top of my head

This game just becomes less enjoyable in local coop because you're all confined to a single screen and the enemies die so quickly that it becomes a race
