Endgame consists of farming randomly generated maps to farm Hell Notes. These are then used to run Hell Gates which are more liner maps and drop Hell Ingots which are used to re-roll stats on items. Hell gates also drop map data which are items that add bonuses to maps... eg more mf / gold or monster level etc.
Finishing the next tier of Hell Gate then levels up your maps.
Good is a matter of perspective but as a very seasoned ARPG player I'm having fun.
Hope this helped :)
You can upgrade normal glyphs to magic at the vendor, you reroll gear with hell stones, you can also upgrade compound glyphs for more stats
My build just hit 76% crit, 400% multi and 250% cast speed from crafting a weapon/amulet and stacking crit% from small glyphs
