the only bug im plagued with all the time is when my dispel potion doesn't dispel anything. i think it has something to do with the potions you have in your bank vs in your cube thing, i don't know, but basically anytime i get CCd i just die because i cannot dispel anything. still trying to figure out whats really going on

there are popular class combinations, basically builds, but i mean "popular" is pretty subjective here, since it doesn't seem like many have caught onto this game yet. its freakin phenomenal though.
i like some speedy zippy stuff so basically adept is required, for cast on movement, and a high cast speed. you can move around and do damage (with no charges or mana used) as fast as you want. it seems hard to beat, playstyle wise

Is it the best game ever? Nope!
Is is a good deal for the price tag? Hell yeah!

I would say the game is rather underrated, hence if it is your cup of tea get it. :)

Huh?
I believe you are in the wrong sub-genre.
Ghostlore is a lot, but it's certainly not a survivors game.

Otherwise we would need to call all ARPG's (Diablo, Path of Exile, etc) "survivor games".

Ghostlore is pretty good, a complete game that works fine.
Not big enough to touch the mainstream, but a very solid indi title nonetheless.

Without being a XXX hour life service play like your life depends on it, AAA game.

It's a good game, but compare to other bigger games, it feels incomplete. The cross class skill feels cool, but you cant really combine any two skills together, you just pick from a preset of skills. The balance is off, especially late game. The crafting, is really cool, but too much grind, it's better to save and reload than to actually farm. Glyph system is cool, but every build end up just spamming one type.
If you want to play one game and one game only, PoE and Grimdawn will probably offer more actual game play. However, this is a perfectly fun game to dip your toe in.

Sorry, I thought it was a survivors game originally. I've got 2k hours into POE so doubt I'll end up playing this. I can't think of anything else in that category of games that I've ended up liking.

i have over 10k hrs in poe over 9 years but there are still tons of other fun arpgs. i just like the genre, the gameplay loop and the grind to min/max builds.
my fav arpg (outside of poe of course) is Chronicon. incredible game. this game is also amazing for the genre and what you can accomplish. it would be great if it got more combinations and legendary gear and stuff. devs have said they were going to update, but nothing so far.

right now playing last epoch since it went 1.0 and its another incredible arpg. just different. poe however is probably the best game that i've played, overall. it has its negatives like becoming a bloated convoluted mess but still fun. nothing can match its build variety and mix of mechanics thats for sure.

The one major thing I liked about this game over PoE is that there's no way to just, dump absolutely everything into one skill in this game. The grid encourages you to make a build that utilizes multiple active abilities. It's been an incredibly long time since I've played PoE. But when I did last play, it was mostly just maxing one skill and then the rest of your gems were just pumping auras.
The level up tree in PoE was nice though, definitely preferred that over the glyph grid.
