Extremely long map in Hell, broken minimap
Version: 0.311

I was in Hell level 5 (Abandoned Hospital tileset) for over an hour, just running in one direction trying to find the boss/exit (using 2 teleport skills too, skipping past walls). I'm assuming the mapgen broke because the minimap also broke, if not there should probably be a smaller map size limit because it stopped being fun after about 15min.

Also, when I finally found the exit, the next loading screen did not say "Hell level 6" like the previous 5 levels. It was just the grey static loading screen with no text. I don't know if that is normal.

I continued the next map (which should've been Hell 6), but there was no boss or exit. It was a small map, I 100% cleared it and checked the entire perimeter twice. Screenshot[i.postimg.cc]

I had to go to the Hell Gate to start a new map (seemingly it counted my progress up to 6)

Yeah, the Hospital map is VERY broken. It generates way too large of a map, and creates some serious performance issues. Even just teleporting through it and ignoring every enemy is super laggy and takes forever to get through.

If you still have the save file from that run and haven't regenerated HG yet, could upload it using the in game tool? Config -> select the save file -> Upload save. Thanks!

I've already started a new map from the Hell Gate if that's what you mean.

Well it happened again on Hell level 15 with the Abandoned Hospital tileset. I uploaded the save and mentioned this thread in the description.

To clarify, this is after updating to v0.312 on the main branch, starting a new lvl 12 map from the Hell Gate, and progressing to lvl 15 where I hit this Abandoned Hospital map and the minimap did the funky thing again.

I was able to find the boss and exit faster this time (still unacceptably long IMO), but similar to the first incident, the next map (which should've been Hell lvl 16) did not have the text on the loading screen.

The save I uploaded 1hr ago is on v0.312 on main branch, I updated post #5 with more details.

I encountered this issue in the story in the most recent public build (0.712), in the final set of levels (after the physical and spiritual worlds collide). In the map before the triple Djinn fight, I had this generation bug.

I've uploaded the screenshots below. I also saved everything in the AppData/LocalLow/ATATGames folder because it looked like it might have some logging information. If there's anything in there that might help you diagnose this bug please let me know and I can upload it.

This map actually did this twice, and was generally very weirdly generated. There were a lot of extremely long, straight paths that seemed to only exist to connect two rooms together. The map had no complexity whatsoever and the rooms were significant distance away from each other. The weird broken map thing happened both at the beginning and end of the map.
