Petition to open Blockbuster inc to modders
With the devs confirming that the game is most likely not going to be in any further development, I've been told if enough interest is shown, they'll ask their publisher if modding could be enabled.

This would essentially give the game a whole new life and possibly open a door later on for something else with Blockbuster.

If you would like to see this, please consider signing this petition

Oh, too bad, I had it on my wishlist, but was pretty skeptical after reading reviews and watching that Let's game it out video, where he managed to make the equivalent of a country's GOP by making one garbage movie after the other.

No modding can save this.

This sounds like an, "Angels in the Outfield" response from the developers. Typically developers don't need permission from the publisher to do this kind of thing. Feels more like an excuse for them to say, "No" without having to deal with the backlash from saying it. (Passing the blame to someone else.)

And I'm not about to trust their word considering they attempted to ghost people on the fact that they abandoned the game.
